Fears of many are slowly becoming true as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) proposed rule document CDC-2016-0068 to gain more power of healthcare in the United States — and more authority over one of the most controversial health practices. If this proposed rule goes into effect, the CDC will have the power to detain and perform forceful medical treatments including vaccinations on any citizen.
Here are some of the main points of this document to be aware of:
CDC Will Be Able to Take into Custody Individuals and Groups of People
“HHS/CDC may promulgate regulations that provide for the apprehension and examination of any individual reasonably believed to be infected with a quarantinable communicable disease in a qualifying stage.
Apprehension means the temporary taking into custody of an individual or group for purposes of determining whether quarantine, isolation, or conditional release is warranted.
When an apprehension occurs, the individual is not free to leave or discontinue his/her discussion with an HHS/CDC public health or quarantine officer.”
CDC Will Be able to Force Medical Examination, Treatment, and Vaccinations without Consent
“HHS/CDC may promulgate and enforce regulations concerning the apprehension and examination of any individual reasonably believed to be infected with a quarantinable communicable disease in a qualifying stage.
We specifically request public comment on this proposed provision and whether there are any concerns regarding the proposed practice to issue Federal orders before a medical examination has taken place.”
CDC Will Be Able to Force Treatment on People that Are Not Even Contagious
The CDC may take into custody people who may be infected with a disease in a pre-communicable stage if the proposal passes.
“CDC defines precommunicable stage to mean the stage beginning upon an individual’s earliest opportunity for exposure to an infectious agent.
For instance, a patient diagnosed with multidrug-resistant or extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis who is not currently infectious but has not been adequately treated for the disease and is thus considered to be at high risk of relapse to an infectious state would be in the “precommunicable stage” of the disease.”
You May Be Forcefully Medically Examined While Traveling or Intending to Travel
“…As in other circumstances where individuals are screened, such as airport security screenings, an individual’s willingness to be screened may be inferred from his or her queueing with other travelers who may be engaging in interstate travel…(holding that a passenger consents to an airport security search by presenting himself/herself for boarding and that such consent may not be revoked by simply walking away). Thus, in order to protect interstate travel from communicable disease threats, HHS/CDC intends for this section to apply broadly to all circumstances where individuals may queue with other travelers.”
Police Will Be Able to Help Detain Citizens
“In appropriate cases, Federal law enforcement agencies may also be able to assist in the enforcement of Federal public health orders.”
This is The Potential Start to Forced Vaccinations
“CDC may enter into an agreement with an individual, upon such terms as the CDC considers to be reasonably necessary, indicating that the individual consents to any of the public health measures authorized under this part, including quarantine, isolation, conditional release, medical examination, hospitalization, vaccination, and treatment.”
