“Little Study Was Done” — Pediatrician Warns Parents about a Toxin in Vaccines Given to Most Babies That Is WORSE Than Mercury

Hepatitis B is transmitted sexually and through drug needles. These are not two activities that a newborn baby is capable of doing, and yet, within 24 hours of being born, a baby receives a Hep B vaccination — whether the mother is infected or not.

When parents sign in to have a baby at the hospital, they are signing up for their baby to receive the Hep B vaccination.

What the parents don’t realize is that they sign the baby up to be given 250 micro-grams (mcg) of aluminum contained in this vaccine.

Board Certified Pediatrician Dr. Paul Thomas, a graduate of Dartmouth Medical School, explains how dangerous this amount of aluminum can potentially be – an adult daily maximum is 50 micro-grams.

This safety limit comes from a 2012 study that compared premature babies who were administered a solution contaminated with aluminum to those who had a solution without this toxic metal.

Now Dr. Thomas is speaking out against what he says is a potentially dangerous and misguided process administered under the guise of public health, one that is unnecessarily putting countless thousands of babies at risk.

Aluminum Given is Far Greater Than Recommended Limits

There is between 225 and 850 mcg of aluminum in Hep B pediatric dose vaccinations: from the lowest of 225 mcg in COMVAX, to the largest amount of 850 mcg in PEDIARIX.

This amount is 5-17 times bigger than the adult recommended limit, and it is given to infants who are much smaller in weight.

The 2012 published study showed that this amount of aluminum will reduce the child’s developmental scores. Giving 4-5 mcg of aluminum per kilogram of body weight a day, made a baby lose one point on the Bailey Developmental Score according to the study.

“Every day that you’re getting aluminum, you’re losing developmental scores. You’re getting brain damage,” Dr. Thomas said.

Unfortunately, aluminum is in our food, our air, even in toys. And now it can be found in a large amount, in a vaccine given to a child in their first 24 hours of being alive.

It wasn’t always this way. Hep B used to be given to teenagers, but was moved up earlier in the schedule in 2002 to be given to newborns, the same year thimerosal (mercury) was removed from the majority but not all childhood vaccinations. One toxin was replaced by another one.

Why was this done? According to Dr. Thomas, the official statement was that Hepatitis B was going to be completely eradicated. In reality, only 26% of 20-year-olds still had the immunity, yet the risk of poisoning infants with this heavy metal is now higher than most people realize, he says.

“Not only are we unnecessarily poisoning all these babies, because they’re not at risk for Hep B – I’m sorry for using the word poisoning, but when we inject a toxin, you’re poisoning –but we’re also reducing their ability to have good immunity when they do need it,” Dr. Thomas said.

Is Hepatitis B Vaccine Really Necessary for Most Newborns?

Currently an estimated 1 in 20 people in the U.S. have some form of Hep B virus in their bodies.

Major medical groups such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, the CDC and the American Academy of Family Physicians are among those who recommend that all babies are vaccinated for the disease at birth, even if their mothers or family members don’t have Hep B (virtually the only way it can be spread to them; as the CDC notes) and despite the relatively long odds of actually contracting the disease. They argue that the baby needs the vaccine because of their undeveloped immune systems.

But is the risk really worth it considering the harm that may be inflicted, both short and long-term?

Dr. Thomas said he went to his group practice several years ago and told them he could “no longer ethically give” the Hep B vaccine to newborns considering his position that a large amount of them that are unnecessarily being placed at risk.

He does however recommend that parents who have Hep B (or kids with family members who have it, see full info here) give the vaccine to their kids at birth because of the high risk factor of the child contracting the disease. Still, he believes that most newborns do not need it after all.

Overall, Dr. Thomas is not a fan of the current vaccine schedule says there is a better way to raise healthy children, which he shares in his newest book The Vaccine-Friendly Plan: Dr. Paul’s Safe and Effective Approach to Immunity and Health-from Pregnancy Through Your Child’s Teen Years.”
