For millions of Americans, popping an aspirin or ibuprofen pill for pain relief is just a daily part of life.
After all, it beats the alternative of trying much more dangerous and habit-forming prescription drugs, and pain relief is often an immediate need that demands an immediate solution.
But there is a dark side to aspirin and ibuprofen use, as these Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDS, have been linked to over 7,000 deaths each year and around 76,000 hospitalizations (as of 2010).
They’ve also been linked to many heart attack risks, circulatory problems, gut health concerns and much more.
The bad news is that these millions of people continue to use NSAIDS like Ibuprofen without a clue that they could be dangerous. The good news is that there are plenty of all-natural alternatives that actually work.
