LeBron James Slips Up, Accidentally Reveals His True Feelings for McDonald’s (with Video)

LeBron James is a two-time NBA champion and one of the most physically gifted and imposing players in the NBA, but as he continues to advance in age and years, he’s begun taking better care of his body.

Despite the 30-year-old’s renewed focus on health, he still has made agreements with GMO and junk food giants like Dunkin’ Donuts, Sprite, and of course McDonald’s.

So, what does LeBron really think of the Golden Arches now? He may have let that slip in a recent interview.

Does LeBron Really Still Eat McDonald’s?

According to this article from takepart.com, LeBron James makes $4 million per year from the fast food giant, and he used to eat their food quite often when he first came into the league.

But now that James is focusing on health, he let it slip that he stopped eating McDonald’s more than six years ago.

How old were you when you started really caring about your body and really working out?” he was asked.

Ummm, 24,” he responded. “I ate McDonald’s my first couple years in the NBA; I didn’t stretch it; it didn’t matter.

I was 18 and could do whatever I wanted to do…”

LeBron tried to save face later by saying that he eats egg and sausage McMuffins every day but by then the damage was done.

Unfortunately, most athletes that could support healthy organic food almost invariably choose the sponsor that will pay them the most money instead.

Do you think this will ever change? Let us know in the comments below, and check out the short clip of LeBron here.
