Talking Raven Asks People on the Street ‘Y’Alright Love?’ In a Strong Yorkshire Accent

The coronavirus situation has taken its toll on millions of people across the globe, and it hasn’t been easy for many of them to say the very least.

Recently at the start of this whole situation I went to check up on an elderly neighbor of mine and while she almost always answers her door, she didn’t do so this time at all.

Much to my surprise, her nextdoor neighbor heard me knocking and opened her door to see what was going on. But instead of acknowledging me, she peered through an open crack in the doorway, began pushing all of the locks on her door to the side, and closed it immediately.

Needless to say, the coronavirus and accompanying news reports have caused a great deal of fear in this world. While many people have used this time to check up on loved ones, others have shut themselves away in fear, and have refused to engage with the outside world.

Thankfully, there are plenty of reminders out there of what a wonderful place this world can be, and how interconnected we all are, whether among friends, family members, the system that we depend on (as flawed as it may be), and especially animals and nature.

In the video below, which I haven’t been able to stop watching for the last month, a talking raven holds a surprisingly hilarious and whimsical conversation with a woman on the street, asking in a thick Yorkshire accent, ‘Y’alright love?”

The video is from 2018, but it’s exactly what we need at this point in time:
