We all know the lyrics to ‘Old MacDonald Had a Farm,” but what would they sound like if they were describing the agricultural landscape of today?
They might sound something like the first half of this video, a children’s play posted by the Facebook page Only Organic in support of its new project NewMacDonald.org.
The audience watches in utter confusion as the kids sing about “a hormone here and a hormone there” while cows are injected with syringes, and “some GMOs here and a pesticides there…”
But midway through the kids shift gears…winning back the audience and making a big statement about the how farming really should be (see the clip by clicking on the image below):
