Product Review: A Luxurious and Versatile Honey Based Salve By Keeper’s Collective

Keeper's Secret produces outstanding salves that help to heal skin topically. The salve penetrates deep into pores for total health.

Keeper’s Collective is a woman-owned company based in Snoqualmie, Washington.

The company makes a wide variety of products including body butters, lip balms, ‘Breathe Easy’ rubs, Face and Hair Oil, and my favorite of them all, ‘Keeper’s Secret Salve.’

The salve felt incredible on my face and hands as I applied it liberally in both places.

Simply put, this is one of the healthiest and most nourishing skincare products you will ever try.

Keeper’s Collective Secret Salve Review

The Secret Salve is packed with unfiltered, raw honey, calendula infused olive oil, yellow beeswax, bee propolis, royal jelly and much more.

Blended and whipped together seamlessly, it has the texture of a gourmet dessert mixed with a thick shaving cream or body butter.

This stuff smells so good I almost wanted to eat it. To me it smells like lavender but lavender is not mentioned on the label.

The Keeper’s Salve does have ‘essential oil’ listed as its last ingredient.

On mornings my face felt dry, I applied a large amount of the salve without water. It hydrates, tonifies and nourishes the skin incredibly well.

Altogether this is one of the best skincare products I have ever tried. If you like honey-based products you can’t go wrong with this one. It is hands down the best honey based skincare product I have ever tried.

Keeper’s Collective Lip Balm Review

The lip balm from Keeper’s Collective was also a present surprise.

I could tell this company meant business when it came to their health products right away but I didn’t expect their lip balm to be this amazing.

It has a wider tube than most other lip balm products which helps to cover your whole upper and lower lips more quickly and efficiently.

Ingredients include almond oil, meadowfoam seed oil, shea butter, castor oil, beeswax, and more.

Much like the Keeper’s Collective Salve mentioned previously, the lip balm from Keeper’s Collective supports sustainable beekeepers and local pollinator populations in the areas where its many health-giving ingredients are sourced.

The Vanilla Mint flavor is quite pleasant, subtle but with just enough to kick to rev up my sense of smell.

Altogether this is the best lip balm I have had in a long, long time, although I am not much of a lip balm user.
