Whey protein is almost universally regarded as a gold standard of supplements for gym goers because of the myriad health benefits it provides.
Whey protein is created by curdling and straining milk, creating the protein-rich byproduct that is widely sold as a supplement online and in health food stores. Health-wise, it helps to build and repair muscle tissue before and after workouts. It also helps to balance blood sugar, generally having the effect of decreasing it.
Recently, I had the opportunity to try Whey protein from a unique source I hadn’t had in quite some time: goats.
Naked Nutrition Chocolate Goat Protein Review
The Naked Goat Chocolate product was the first of two I got the opportunity to try from Naked Nutrition. The Chocolate flavor is a bit subtle but also creamy, smooth and delicious in this protein powder. Molecular weight-wise, the Chocolate Goat Whey has a lighter mouthfeel to it than traditional cow’s milk based Whey protein.
Ingredients-wise, I loved the transparency and commitment to using less ingredients from Naked Nutrition on this product. The Chocolate Naked Goat product contains just three ingredients with no fillers or preservatives: Goat Whey Protein, Organic Coconut Sugar, and Organic Cacao Powder.
This is the type of protein product I could see myself consuming often. I love the flavor, texture and the way it makes me feel.
Overall I give this product an A rating as it is one of the best protein powders I’ve ever had.
Naked Nutrition Vanilla Goat Protein Review
The next type I tried from Naked Nutrition was the Vanilla Goat Protein. It has just three ingredients: Goat Whey Protein, Organic Coconut Sugar and Natural Flavor.
This one tasted delicious and the Vanilla flavor was excellent and rich. I did not ask the company what the term Natural Flavor is used to describe in this case. Naked Nutrition strives to use natural and organic ingredients as often as possible.
Previously, I reviewed their lemon protein powder product and was delighted to learn that its flavors were made from actual lemons.
Grade-wise, I give this protein powder a B+ with questions remaining about whether or not its flavor comes from real vanilla beans or not.

Final Thoughts On Naked Nutrition Goat Products
I thoroughly enjoyed both of these products and added them to my supplementation routine.
Each is delicious and packed with protein and wholesome ingredients. If you’re the type of person who has digestive issues with cow-based whey protein or someone who is looking for a high quality protein product I highly recommend checking these Goat Whey products out.
