Product Review: Delicious Potato Chips Cooked in Beef Tallow From Tasty Nate’s

Tasty Nate's Potato Chips with Beef Tallow.

Tasty Nate’s Potato Chips are cooked in beef tallow unlike most other potato chip brands.

Potato chips are a staple snack food for millions of people who enjoy the convenience and taste.

White potatoes are packed with vitamins and minerals including potassium, Vitamin C, B6 and Magnesium making them a food that many human beings instinctively crave.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try a new type of chip from a brand that is taking part in the beef tallow revolution popularized by United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

If you’ve never tried chips cooked in Beef Tallow before you are missing out.

Tasty Nate’s Potato Chip Flavors

Tasty Nate's on Amazon.com.

Tasty Nate’s one original flavor, Original Beef Tallow Fried Chips, and that’s it.

The company keeps it simple by focusing on the basics and in terms of flavor they definitely do a fantastic job.

If you like a classic potato chip taste you will be hard-pressed to find a tastier traditional potato chip than Tasty Nate’s.

Each chip had a crunchy and thick consistency, thicker than any other potato chip I’ve tried.

The taste difference between Beef Tallow cooked chips from Nate’s and mainstream brands is undeniable.

I loved the taste and I think you will too if you decide to try these chips.

Tasty Nate’s Nutrition

Tasty Nate’s prides itself on using Non-GMO ingredients, something you won’t find in most store bought chip brands.

One caveat is that the company added on social media recently that it cannot guarantee the cows used to make the beef tallow it uses have not been fed entirely Non-GMO ingredients – approach with caution.

Each bag has three ingredients – Potatoes, Beef Tallow, and Sea Salt.

This simplicity and the decision to use beef tallow instead of genetically modified corn, soy, canola or cotton seed oil sets these chips apart.

Each serving (seven per bag) delivers 8% of the daily value of potassium and two grams of protein.

Potato chips do have an anti-nutrient called lectins in them so tread carefully if you have any dietary sensitivities.

This is a better option than most potato chips and the taste is way better in my personal opinion.

Final Thoughts – Tasty Nate’s Beef Tallow Potato Chips

These chips are so much better than anything you will find at the grocery store and they are also tastier and generally better than most chips I’ve found at the health food store.

My only issue with this company’s products is they don’t use organic ingredients. I would love to see an organic twist on these chips especially since organic potato chip options have become virtually non-existent over the past few years.

The taste of Beef Tallow chips is totally different than Seed Oil based chips. Each chip has a more substantial and nourishing taste. It tastes less like a junk food and much more like “real food” and that makes all the difference.

In the future I would love to see Tasty Nate’s secure an entirely pasture-raised/non-GMO supply chain for their beef tallow as this is important to me in my purchasing decisions.

Special Thanks to Tasty Nate’s for giving me the opportunity to try these chips!
