Product Review: Delicious Chocolate With Premium, Organic Ingredients From Chocxo

Choxo peanut butter style cups.

Over the past few decades of my life’s quest for better health, I’ve grown accustomed to avoiding food brands that used to be my favorites.

One of them was Reese’s peanut butter cups, which I began replacing with my own homemade chocolate desserts using organic cacao powder, grass-fed cow’s butter, coconut oil and other healthy ingredients.

Another Reese’s peanut butter cups style brand I’ve enjoyed thoroughly over the years is Justin’s, which typically contains organic ingredients including almond butter and peanut butter for the filling.

Recently I had the opportunity to check out a similar brand called Chocxo. The following are my impressions.

Chocxo Peanut Butter Cup Style Candy Flavors

Chocxo prides itself as a company that makes ‘Simply Better Chocolate.’

I tried their dark chocolate lemon creme cups and found that I agree with this sentiment.

The lemony filling is made from essential oils of lemon and clementine. The chocolate is luscious and delicious.

I had little idea about what to expect when I first opened these because I had never tried this flavor combination.

Other Chocxo flavors include dark chocolate peppermint, raspberry quinoa, dark milk chocolate cookies and creme, dark chocolate peanut butter and more.

The dark chocolate lemon cups were so good they made me want to try more flavor combinations.

Chocxo Health Benefits

Dark chocolate is one of the highest antioxidant foods in the world that is rich in trace minerals. These cups are 72% cacao which makes them a great way (by candy standards) to get more trace minerals and disease-fighting antioxidants in your diet.

The presence of highly concentrated plant based oils also adds a healthy flair to these cups. They also contain real organic vanilla extract which has many health benefits.

There is also a minuscule amount of soy lecithin in these cups which is thankfully organic like the rest of these cups’ ingredients. The four grams of sugar comes from cane sugar.

I felt good after eating entirely too many of these dark chocolate lemon creme cups. They were simply too delicious to stop eating and I got them delivered during a time when there was not much food in my kitchen.

My overeating did not preclude me from feeling good afterward, a testament to the super high quality ingredients in these candies. I like these as much or more than Justin’s and other brands I’ve tried. They also have a line of keto products for anyone who does not want refined sugar in their candy.
