Product Review: Delicious Free Range and Grass-Fed Meat Sticks From Mission Meats

A stick from Mission Meats.

Organic and grass-fed meats have made a comeback in recent years with people flocking to myriad companies to check out their latest offerings.

Grass-fed and organic meat sticks are rich in protein and trace minerals with the ability to build up the human body in a healthy fashion, especially when paired with digestive aids like apple cider vinegar, sparkling water and similar products.

Recently I had the opportunity to check out some delicious organic meat sticks from Mission Meats, a company based out of Kentwood, Michigan that succeeds in its mission to provide ‘Easy, Clean Protein Snacks’ to the masses.

Mission Meats Flavors

I recently tried four flavors of Mission Meats snacks and thoroughly enjoyed all four of them.

The flavors were creative compared to what I’ve seen from other similar meat companies and included beef, turkey and pork flavors.

Tasty Original

The Tasty Original from Mission Meats is exactly what it sounds like. It is a flavorful and rich beef stick with a delicious classic beef taste without any dairy, egg, fish, crustacean, shellfish, gluten, soy or sesame ingredients in it.

The Tasty Original is as good as any other beef stick I have had.

If you like a classic flavor this is the one for you.

Cracked Pepper

When I first saw the cracked pepper from Mission Meats I was stoked to try it, and it lived up to the hype.

I know this flavor from Kettle brand potato chips and this is a similar type of flavor but in a pork stick form.

These sticks are gluten free with seven grams of protein each. They are better than any other cracked pepper flavor pork stick or beef jerky I’ve ever had.

Jalapeno Pepper

These grass fed beef sticks also tasted incredible. They are as good as any beef stick I’ve ever tried in terms of pure taste, macro nutrition, creativity and other factors.

If you’re looking for a tasty and healthy beef stick you can’t go wrong with these, or anything from Mission Meats.

Jalapeno is a good source of Vitamin A, potassium and folate. The additional spices give this beef stick more of a spicy kick than the others from Mission Meats and I am a big fan of it.

Tasty Original Turkey Sticks

Turkey sticks have become a new favorite of mine in recent years and these ones certainly deliver.

The flavor is pure and delicious and each stick is made with free range turkey which is important me.

Turkeys who eat a natural diet of foraged insects on pasture are incredibly health and that transfers to the meat quality.

Final Thoughts on Mission Meat Sticks

I really enjoyed every flavor that I tried and I think this company has a bright future.

Mission Meats is located in Kentwood Michigan and its revenue is about $6.3 million per year according to ZoomInfo.

I was surprised that I had never heard of this company until recently because of how great their products are and I wish I could find them more often in grocery and health food stores.

One caveat is that the sticks don’t have as many organic ingredients as I would like to see but that wouldn’t stop me from buying them as they are free range, grass fed and amazing.
