Product Review: CBD-Enhanced Drink Mixes from CENTR Wellness Beverages

CENTR, CENTR drinks, CENTR CBD, CENTR Beverages

The world of wellness beverages is a crowded one, and it takes a lot to stand out in such a competitive environment.

Recently, I had the chance to try functional wellness beverages from a company called CENTR, and I thoroughly enjoyed them for the instantaneous health benefits and great taste they provided.

As you may have guessed from looking at the picture above and my previous sentence, these beverages lived up to their name.

Upon trying them for the first time, I felt the effects of the herbs, electrolytes and CBD within — just part of the reason why I recommend these drinks as a natural stress-buster that works without delay.

CENTR Instant Flavors

These drink mixes come in ten packs of individual flavors as well as mixed flavor packs.

The three flavors I tried were:

-Pomegranate Hibiscus (Relax)

-Cucumber Yuzu (Recover)

-Unflavored (Balance)

The first flavor I tried was the Cucumber Yuzu. Upon trying it I immediately noticed the fizziness of the electrolytes as well as the calming effect of the CBD. The flavor was delicious and sublime with no aftertaste.

Next, I tried the Relax. This one definitely lives up to its name, and the pomegranate flavor was excellent. This kind had the most flavor of any of the three I tried.

The Unflavored one was much different than the other two. I tore into it with an excitement of trying a third and final flavor and was perplexed when I noticed there was no flavor, before finally reading the label.

I felt the benefits of this one and the lack of flavor was a nice change of pace. Still, this wouldn’t be my first choice if I had to pick among the three flavors.

CENTR Ingredients

Each drink mix contains different ingredients, with the Relax and Recover having the most impressive lists in my personal opinion.

Ingredients in ‘Relax’ include:

-Ashwagandha Root (250 mg)

-Gamma Aminobutyric Acid (as GABA) 100 mg

-CBD (aerial parts) 20 mg

Ashwagandha is excellent for stress and anxiety relief and helps lower blood sugar and body fat, helping to offset the effects of sugar in this blend. The 250 mg is a small dose compared to most pure ashwagandha products on the market, but the combination of these three ingredients really works wonders. The GABA is known to enhance mood. Overall I felt a lot of positive effects from this particular drink mix.

It should be noted that these sticks have between 3-4 grams of organic cane sugar per serving.

I personally am not a big fan of sugar in these types of supplements but they definitely make for an enhanced taste an I am glad that the sugar is organic.

Ingredients in ‘Balance’ include:

-CBD (aerial parts) 20 mg

This product only contains isomallulose, a sweetener, and CBD. As far as doses go, 20 mg of CBD is on the low end of the spectrum. This is enough CBD to give a relaxation effect but definitely less than most other brands on the market.

Ingredients in ‘Recover’ include:

-Vitamin B12 (1,042%)

-Vitamin B6 (118%)

-Vitamin A (83%)

-Palmitic Acid monoethanolamide (as PEA)

-Marine Derived Magnesium (14%)

The PEA compound above has beneficial effects for the endocannabinoid system. This product also contains 20 mg of CBD as well as monk fruit and spirulina.

Final Thoughts on CENTR Instant Wellness Drinks

Overall, I really enjoyed taking these products. The best two are Relax and Recover by far in my personal estimation.

I feel great while taking these products, although I wish the company offered sugar-free options using only monk fruit instead of monk fruit and sugar, or stevia instead of sugar.
