Product Review: Healing Teas Rooted in Traditional Mongolian Medicine From Amu Nutrition

Amu Nutrition Mongolian style teas.

One of the greatest things I ever did for my health roughly 12 to 15 years ago was decide to start drinking hot teas as often as humanly possible.

Most teas contain strong detoxifying properties that allow a person to stay optimally healthy over the long haul without always having to undertake cleanses or fasting or similarly challenging protocols.

Recently, I had the chance to try some unique teas from Amu Nutrition. These teas are based in traditional Mongolian medicine, organically grown and teeming with health benefits.

The company is based on the work of wellness enthusiasts, herbalists, tea lovers and nutritionists, and was founded in Mongolia by Khulan, a certified Ayurvedic nutritionist.

Amu Healing Tea Flavors

For the purposes of this review I tried a sample pack of Amu teas.

The teas are harvested in the Atai Mountain range at 14,000 feet high, adding to their unique herbal and medicinal properties.

They were also sourced from a landscape that served as the backdrop for the famous Mongolian eagle hunter movie.

Some of the flavors and beneficial herbal teas this company provides include:

Black Goji Berry Tea-

Black Goji Berry (aka Wolfberry) tea is excellent for improving symptoms of fatigue. It helps to treat cardiovascular issues and inflammation in the body making it great to drink for long term maintenance.

Amu Nutrition sells their teas in small packets for maintenance and in glass jars with more herbal material for a more robust tea.

Himalayan Buckwheat Tea

Himalayan Buckwheat tea comes from high elevation areas and is rich in antioxidants. Himalayan buckwheat tea provides improved digestion in a caffeine-free package. The earthy taste of this one is very understated but the health benefits are tangible and worth pursuing.

This tea is rich in Rutin, an antioxidant used to heal aging skin. It also has anti-inflammatory and disease protective effects.

Sugar Balance Tea With Apple, Jujube, and Senna Seed

Amu Nutrition sugar balance tea.

This is another of my favorites from Amu Nutrition.

It contains Jujube, an herb with a great reputation in Far Eastern medicine.

Apple and Senna seed add to the blood sugar balancing properties of this tea. It tastes Earthy with a hint of sweetness. If you like teas with understated but delicious flavors that are big on the herbal content of each bag, I highly suggest trying out a 15-bag box of these teas.
