Six Baby Foods You Should ALWAYS Buy Organic, According to New Research on Pesticides

Gerber baby food was studied by the Environmental Working Group

The amount of pesticides in baby food has been reduced over the past few years according to new research. The information is being sent to healthy food enthusiasts across the United States as part of a new campaign from the Environmental Working Group (EWG).

Recently, a large territory in one of the world’s biggest countries decided to ban all pesticides and watched wildlife and tourism flourish. Scientists revealed the number one natural solution for washing pesticides off of produce.

On November 15, the EWG shared results of the latest research on pesticides in baby food. What they found should be of urgent concern to all parents and babysitters.

Baby Food Companies Improved On Purity

The EWG’s report found improvement among baby food companies and pesticides. Still, the threat of numerous potentially harmful toxins remains.

The group’s latest study found that the amount of pesticides in baby food is lower than its groundbreaking 1995 study by a total of 15%. It found that many of the most toxic pesticides in baby food have been removed.

In total, 38% of conventional baby food samples contained potentially harmful pesticide residues compared to the 53% total detailed in 1995’s EWG study.

Organic baby food contained 0% pesticide residues according to this year’s results.

The EWG cautioned mothers to avoid certain conventional baby foods and to always buy six flavors of baby food organic.
