Product Review: Organic, Chef-Curated and Delicious Vegan Meals and Smoothies from Daily Harvest

Daily Harvest pasta is delicious.

Meal delivery services are a great way to get more healthy nutrition in your life during times when you’re constantly on the go and don’t have a whole lot of time to shop or cook.

One of my favorites is Daily Harvest, an organic, chef-curated and vegan company that sells pastas, acai style nutrition bowls, smoothies and much more. Everything from this company is organic and vegan with flavors the likes of which you’ve probably never tried before.

Recently I had the chance to try a suite of meals from Daily Harvest and came away quite impressed. Here are my thoughts on the latest iteration of Daily Harvest’s meals, more info on which can be found on their website here.

Daily Harvest Pastas

The pasta shown in the picture above is white bean and spinach pesto, which was just one of the numerous delicious entrees from Daily Harvest that I tried.

The flavors in this gluten-free, organic and pasta dish were out of this world. The recipe for white bean and spinach pesto contained sedani pasta, a short, tubular Italian variety, romano beans, artichoke, and an herb seasoned pesto sauce.

The flavor was unlike anything I’ve had from dishes I’ve cooked or gotten at a restaurant. If you like thick and delicious white beans and lots of fresh herb and pesto flavors you will love this pasta.

I am not vegan so I added chicken to this dish and the flavors complemented each other exceptionally well. This dish is great whether on its own or if you decide to add an additional protein to it.

Daily Harvest Forager Bowls

Daily Forager Bowl from Daily Harvest.

Another dish I had from Daily Harvest for breakfast was the strawberry and goji berry harvest bowl. These bowls reminded me of an acai bowl. They contain oats, strawberries, flaxseed, goji berries, vanilla bean and honeyberries, also known as haksap berries.

The convenience, health and deliciousness of these bowls makes them a great addition to each Daily Harvest meal plan.

Daily Harvest Smoothies

I also tried smoothies from Daily Harvest that were delicious and easy to make. The avocado plus greens smoothie was the one I tried. It contains organic apples, spinach, avocado, almond, fennel and spirulina.

These smoothies come prepared so you don’t chop any fruits and vegetables.

I liked these smoothies very much because they contain avocado, something that prepared smoothies rarely contain. The taste was great and these smoothies gave me a lot of energy.

If you’re someone who lives a busy professional life and need smoothies, bowls or pasta that you grab and prepare in a hurry, you can’t go wrong with Daily Harvest. Everything tastes delicious, has A+ ingredients, and is simple and easy to make in just a few minutes at a time.

Final Thoughts on Daily Harvest Meal Plans

All things I considered I have enjoyed this company’s offerings for a long time. This is the second assortment of meals I have ordered from them and everything I tried was great.

The flavors are blended together exceptionally well and there is so much variety that each meal and smoothie or bowl is something that you will look forward to every day once you put them all in your fridge.
