Cannabidiol based, or CBD based products, have become incredibly popular in recent years due in large part to the calming effect they have on human beings, as well as dogs, cats and other animals.

The CBD product market has grown exponentially in the past few decades as more information has surfaced on the effects of these products.

After all, many living organisms including humans, dogs and cats have endocannabinoid systems (ECS), networks of receptors and enzymes in their bodies that regulate bodily functions including pain, appetite, sleep, mood and immune system functions.

For these and other reasons, I have taken CBD products for quite some time. Recently, I had the opportunity to sample some fantastic CBD products (as well as some relatively low-dose THC products) from the company NuLeaf Naturals, based out of Larimer, Colorado, a beautiful mountainous area near Fort Collins.

These balms are made from wholesome ingredients including organic shea butter and full spectrum hemp extract.

I felt the quality of these balms immediately while trying them. They offer a calming and relaxing effect that is excellent for using before sleep or during the day if you’re trying to relax. NuLeaf CBD Gummies

Another product I enjoyed tremendously from NuLeaf was their CBD gummies. These tasted absolutely fantastic with an incredible calming effect that I felt immediately.

The NuLeaf CBD gummies are sweetened with organic taioca syrup and cane sugar. There are four grams of sugar per serving of the NuLeaf gummies which is a little high in my book but it wasn’t something that bothered me or made me feel unhealthy or like my blood sugar was raised too high by any means.

The NuLeaf gummies also contain healthy ingredients like organic coconut oil or MCT (medium chain triglycerides/health medium chain fatty acids from coconuts) that left me feeling good after consuming them.

The three main products for gummies you will find include THC (Delta 9) gummies, CBD gummies and CBD/CBN (Cannibidiol and Cannabinol) varieties. The CBN is considered to be like a weaker form of THC which has similar properties (slightly psychoactive). CBN is “considered not psychoactive,” but has “mild psychoactive properties.”

THC of course has mild psychoactive properties and healing benefits.

The combination of these different cannabis varieties have synergistic effects that dramatically improve health when combined and taken regularly.

(Note: Be sure to check and see what is legal in your state before purchasing and note the potential psychoactive effects of THC and CBN before making your purchasing decision).

According to a NuLeaf spokesperson, the 2018 Farm Bill made it legal for companies to sell THC products online so long as the products are made from legal hemp, which leads to the product containing less than 0.3% THC. That means that NuLeaf products are generally available for anyone to purchase without a medical card.
