Product Review: Gourmet, Non-GMO Chocolate Bars From Coco Polo Bliss

Chocolate is a food that is nearly universally loved, added to everything from candy bars to ice cream to smoothies, snack foods, cakes, cookies and more.

Recently I had the opportunity to try non-GMO, gourmet chocolate bars from Coco Polo Bliss, and thoroughly enjoyed them.

As an avid buyer of chocolate products of non-GMO, organic and other varieties of chocolate for many years, I have a sixth sense for how I want my chocolate to taste.

These chocolate bars are as good as any I have tried in a long time. Here are my thoughts on three flavors of Coco Polo Bliss.

Coco Polo Bliss Flavors 

The three flavors I tried are Absolute Pure, Raspberry Hibiscus and Whole Espresso Bean Infused.

I noticed right off the bat that I really enjoyed the artwork on each chocolate bar.

The background of each bar’s packaging is inspired by classic European architecture, inspiring the feeling of a European style chocolate experience.

The taste of each flavor matched the detailed and inspired designs on the outside of each chocolate wrapped.

1. Absolute Pure- 

This is a classic chocolate flavor that tastes like something you’d get from a corner chocolate shop. It surpassed my expectations for a store bought chocolate bar with incredible taste and organic/GMO free ingredients.

The company commits to paying cacao farmers, even for the 70% of its ingredients that are typically discarded.

2. Raspberry Hibiscus- 

This is another vegan friendly chocolate product with all vegan and mostly organic ingredients.

The flavor on this product is unbelievably good.

The raspberry and the hibiscus notes complemented each other well and really made this flavor pop. If you are a fan of fruit infused chocolates you can’t go wrong with this one, it is an experience in and of itself.

3. Whole Espresso Bean Infused-

This flavor was also excellent. It’s hard to rank these three flavors because of how tough great they all are, but the Espresso is probably the second best behind the Hibiscus in my estimation.

It is rich, creamy, thick and bursting with flavor.

Includes Organic Oak Fire-Roasted Espresso Beans. This flavor reminded me of my favorite coffee ice cream for some odd reason because of the sheer flavor it provided.

Why Purchase Coco Pollo Bliss Chocolate?

Coco Pollo Bliss Chocolate is a must have for chocolate connoisseurs if you like flavorful chocolate with healthier ingredients than the mainstream varieties.

Each of the three flavors I tried is bursting with deliciousness.

I would go as far as to say that this brand of chocolate tastes significantly better than anything you’ll find on health food store shelves and as good as most gourmet small town chocolate shops.

With a focus on sustainability and fair wages for cacao growers, it’s also a win for the environment.
