The protein bar industry has seen a lot of changes in recent years with companies like KIND bought out by large companies and ingredients altered.

Canola oil and other unsavory ingredients have found their way into the “healthy” staples people have enjoyed for quite some time with non-GMO, organic and grass-fed options few and far between.

One company that helps to fill the gap is Powerfit Foods with their Bare Bar.

Powerfit Foods has a website selling its grass-fed, beef tallow and honey enhanced products without the junk of other bars.

I got to try these nutrient dense bars and absolutely loved them. Here are my thoughts.

Powerfit Foods Bare Bar (also Known as Power Puck) Flavors

The flavors I tried were espresso, cocoa, cinnamon, honey and vanilla.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of these flavors as each flavor was subtle but complex with just the right mix of all the different ingredients bringing out the best in each one.

The espresso had a nice robust coffee flavor while the cocoa tasted rich and decadent. The cinnamon popped in my mouth while the honey was rich and had just the right amount of sweetness.

The vanilla includes real vanilla and other great ingredients delivering an amazing flavor profile.

Each bar has grass-fed beef. The blending of the flavors makes this taste like a protein bar with a hint of beef jerky, all brought together in perfect harmony.

The texture is somewhat fluffy and marshmallowy while also maintaining a solidity. These bars really are an experience that is unique and quite enjoyable flavor wise.

Bare Bars Nutrition Profile

The simplicity and quality of the ingredients in these bars is a marvel to behold.

Each has grass-fed beef, grass-fed beef tallow, honey and sea salt along with real ingredients for each unique flavor.

If the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement had an official seal this product would be the perfect fit.

I instinctively craved these bars even though I had lots of food at my place at the time. I went for these bars and gobbled them up fast because they made me feel good.

The energy I got from all of the protein, beef tallow and honey was noticeable right away.

This company also sometimes calls its products by their former name “power pucks” and after eating them you will see why. They are dense with nutrition and energy giving.

The satisfactory feeling I got from eating these is something you will have to experience first hand to really appreciate.

Final Thoughts on Bare Bars

Bare Bars product review.

These bars are different from Barebell Bars which have become popular in the mainstream in recent years.

Bareball bars have artificial ingredients but there is nothing artificial in Bare Bars and they contain premium, energizing grass fed ingredients that are a home run in my book.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything about these bars and I hope you get a chance to try them because they taste and feel amazing.

Special thanks to Bare Bars for sending these samples! Each flavor is truly amazing!
