Four Amazing Health Benefits of Watermelon Seeds

 

Contrary to Monsanto talking points, hybridization and genetic modification of food crops are completely different beasts altogether.

Seedless watermelon for example arose through years of specific breeding techniques, and was not created in labs using the insertion of any foreign materials as with GMOs.

That being said, there’s some concern over the health effects of seedless watermelons, considering that they are are made by crossing pollen, with watermelon flowers that have been altered with chemicals

Truth be told, you’re better off eating them with the seeds intact. In the case of watermelons, did you know that the seeds offer a ton of health benefits, including minerals like magnesium, iron and potassium, as well as B vitamins?
