Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Sends 9-Word Valentine’s Day Message to Wife Cheryl Following HHS Confirmation

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was confirmed as the United States’ new Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday, the culmination of years of crusading against toxic, dangerous chemicals in food, air, vaccines, water and more by the longtime environmental attorney.

Kennedy Jr. was confirmed by a 52-48 Senate vote and now will have the opportunity to put plans into action that have been years in the making in some cases.

On Friday, Kennedy Jr. shared a social media tribute to the woman who has stood by his side through years of controversy, his wife Cheryl Hines, in a message that was liked over 120,000 times on RFK Jr.’s Instagram page.

Kennedy Jr.’s message was short but sweet as he revealed his feelings for Hines all over again.

“Thanks Cheryl for being my partner in this adventure,” Kennedy Jr. wrote.

“Happy Valentine’s Day,” Kennedy Jr. added with a red heart emoji.

Hines, a former actress who starred alongside comedian Larry David on his popular ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ television show, played the character Cheryl David on the show and is an accomplished actress with a net worth of $15 million.

She was introduced to Kennedy, Jr. at a ski event fundraiser in Banff, Alberta, Canada, site of the famous Banff National Park.

Both were married at the time they met but eventually started dating in 2010. Kennedy is 12 years Hines’ senior, as Hines turned 59 in September 2024.

The couple was married at the Kennedy family complex in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. The couple has seven children combined, all of them from previous marriages.

Kennedy, Jr. has become an advocate for clean, healthy food with an emphasis on bringing back grass-fed and pasture-raised animal based cooking oils like beef tallow.

Most United States restaurants currently use genetically modified soy, corn and canola oils as their chief cooking oils, a procedure that Kennedy Jr. and other modern health advocates believe is partly responsible for the rise in chronic disease among American residents in the recent decades.
