Product Review: Functional CBD Drink Enhancers From Apex Labs

Apex Labs, CBD, Review, Focus, Sleep, CBD, Hemp

Of all the products I have tried and reviewed over the course of my ten-plus years as a health blogger and journalist, few have captured my attention quite like CBD.

Also known by its full name Cannabidiol, CBD is a component of hemp that is calming, soothing and restorative. Unlike THC, CBD is a non-psychoactive plant.

It has been used for countless health problems over thousands of years, and it used to be far more common in the food supply back when it was given to cattle for forage instead of genetically modified corn and soy products.

Over the years we have reported on many stories involving the beneficial effects of CBD including one woman who used it to recover from chronic back issues from a devastating fall. Another man began reversing his Parkinson’s Disease quickly after a drop of CBD oil, showing its miraculous healing power up close.

These are just a few examples of how CBD can heal as well or better than any other supplement in the right situation.

Recently I had the chance to try a trio of different CBD products from a company called Apex Labs and thought they were quite unique in their category.

Apex Labs CBD Drink Enhancers Benefits

The first thing I noticed about these CBD beverages is that they contained more CBD than some products I have tried and reviewed lately.

The regular CBD beverage enhancer (found on the Apex website here) has 600 mg of CBD, which is about 240 mg less than a liquid dropper from the popular company Charlotte’s Web that costs nearly $60.00. This particular beverage enhancer costs $24.99, meaning you get a lot more CBD for your money.

The other thing I noticed about these drinks is they are pretty much just pure CBD. They don’t have a whole lot of features to them such as sweeteners, vitamins, antioxidants or similar additions.

This can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view.

Another feature that sets these CBD drink enhancers apart from the competition is their use of nanotechnology to reduce the particle size of the CBD, making it more water soluble. The company states that this technology makes CBD five times more absorbable than traditional varieties.

Additionally, these products contain CBN and CBG as well as CBD. CBN is component of THC but is classified as a non-intoxicating natural chemical that helps to regulate mood and the sleep-wake cycle, pain sensation, and the immunological response.

CBG is known as “the mother of all cannabinoids.” It works to reduce pressure in the eyes that causes glaucoma, making it useful for people who spend a lot of time on the computer and experience eye strain often. It also reduces inflammation, pain and nausea and has cancer-fighting properites.

In my personal opinion these products are a very good value if you’re looking to get as much CBD for your money as possible.

The three I tried were:

CBD beverage enhancer

Sleep beverage enhancer

Focus beverage enhancer

I personally felt the effects of these CBD beverage enhancers after drinking them, but there was a delayed response that was different from most other ones I have tried. With so much CBD in each drink enhancer these provide a noticeable relaxing and calming effect.

They definitely changed something in my physiology and made me much more relaxed in ways I am just now beginning to understand several days later.

Overall I enjoyed these beverage enhancers. They are a good deal if you’re looking for a product that amounts to ‘relaxation in a bottle.’
